The weather has been so good lately that it’s easy to forget it’s not already summer. Let’s keep this charade going a little longer by inviting you to the most summeriest of summer activities: a beer festival.
They say nothing worth doing is easy, and this one does require a bit of work. To take part you’ve got to get your ass over to the island for the Victoria Beer Week, running March 7-15.
Running for nine days, and featuring a total of 21 events celebrating craft beer culture in BC, the week starts and ends with marquee events that pair BC craft beer with local Victoria food vendors. Smaller tastings, seminars and micro-events happen at various venues throughout the week.
Don’t want the hassle of taking the ferry? Present a ticket to the beer festival and Harbour Air will drop the price of your Vancouver-Victoria ‘harbour to harbour’ flight by 20%. So as you’re gently floating through the sky you can daydream about the beautiful memories you are sure to make, and then forget, at this fantastic brewfest.
Tickets are going fast and some events are already sold out – who knew our friends across the water were such keen pint polishers?
